Putting the value in value added tax
Now that Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a reality, we understand the complexities (and monotony) of completing your VAT return. Wouldn’t it be great if you could put your feet up and take a break, knowing that all your VAT requirements are being taken care of?
Well that's where we come in! Whether you’re just getting VAT registered, or looking to relieve yourself of the burden of VAT compliance, we’ve got you covered.
Our fully outsourced finance function includes the preparation and submission of your VAT returns, using MTD compatible software
We love planning - as accountants it’s in our blood, but we know that businesses love it too. With real-time data at your fingertips, you’ll always be able to check what your VAT liability is looking like, so you can plan this into your cash flows.
And should HMRC come knocking with an investigation, we also offer a business protection service, dealing with HMRC on your behalf (sounds good right?).
If you're selling internationally, it's likely that you will be, or need to be, registered for sales taxes abroad. This can start to get complex, but we work with a number of VAT partners who can register for sales taxes and file your return overseas for you as well, so you can rest assured that it's all in hand.
We work closely with a number of app partners like Dext Commerce, and A2X to connect you ecommerce platforms to your cloud accounting software, automating the sales process, and eliminating data entry so you can spend more time developing your business.
Monthly, or quarterly, it's no bother to us, we will make sure your returns are filed on time, every time.
As part of you VAT return service, we will:
Keep you up to date with when your VAT payments are due, and how much is owed
Review your return each period and minimise the amount of VAT you need to pay
Submit your returns through MTD compliant software such as Xero or Quickbooks.
When you've paid out for expenses related to your job - be it to travel or buying a uniform, you may be able to claim tax relief on the costs you've incurred. We’ve compiled a basic guide to the expenses you should be claiming to get you started.
