Supporting Warwickshire & Solihull Blood Bikes – A Life-Saving Mission
At Inform Accounting, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that make a real difference. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to sponsor Warwickshire & Solihull Blood Bikes (WSBB), an amazing charity that works around the clock to provide life-saving deliveries to those in need.
What does WSBB do?
WSBB plays a crucial role in supporting the NHS by delivering urgent medical supplies, including blood, baby milk, and vital medicines. Their volunteers are on the road 24/7, ensuring that hospitals, patients, and even the Air Ambulance receive essential deliveries when every second counts.
With the NHS under immense pressure, WSBB also helps by transporting chemotherapy and other medical supplies directly to patients’ homes. This not only ensures patients receive their treatment quickly but also frees up much-needed hospital beds for others in urgent need.
Why we're getting involved
At Inform Accounting, we support various charities that are close to the hearts of our employees. WSBB’s dedication to saving lives is truly inspiring, and we’re thrilled to be the corporate sponsor for Mike’s incredible London Marathon challenge.
Mike's Marathon Challenge - a Guinness World Record attempt!
Mike, one of WSBB’s dedicated supporters, is taking his commitment to the next level by running the London Marathon in April 2025 in a homemade WSBB motorbike costume! He tested it out in 2024 with an impressive time of 6 hours and 19 minutes. This year, he’s aiming to knock two hours off his time to claim a Guinness World Record – a daunting task, but one he’s ready to take on!
Reflecting on his motivation, Mike shares:
“When I hear stories from grateful people that WSBB has helped save a family member—whether it’s an elderly relative needing an urgent blood transfusion or a premature baby requiring milk—it makes it all the more worthwhile!"
How can you help?
Keeping WSBB’s fleet running 365 days a year is expensive, and the charity relies solely on donations. Your support can help keep these life-saving bikes on the road and ease some of the financial burden on the NHS.
To cheer on Mike and contribute to his Guinness World Record attempt, donate via his JustGiving page.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. Let’s come together to support this fantastic cause and help save lives, one ride at a time!
