Xero approved by HMRC for MTD

Recent reports in the press (October 2018), have highlighted the fact that HMRC has only fully tested 23 software products compatible with Making Tax Digital (MTD) due to delays in rolling out the full trial.

MTD for VAT goes live in April 2019 and whilst HMRC have stated that more products would be available by April, there seems to be a reluctance for some companies to move from the “spreadsheet” to online software” as they are unsure what will be available.

At Inform Accounting, our software, Xero is one of those that has been tested and approved by HMRC. We are also fully able to assist you with the move to MTD for not only VAT but other taxes in the future.
